Council Launches Landlord Licensing Scheme

From June, all private landlords in designated wards must obtain a license at a cost of £890 per property. The scheme aims to improve property conditions and tackle anti-social behaviour.

Landlord associations have criticised the roll-out, calling it a “cash grab”.
